Will Ferrell’s Old Milwaukee ads are becoming a bit of a Super Bowl tradition. Are they kinda random? Yes, yes they are. Are they a good move by the fine folks who brew Old Milwaukee? Well, they only pay to run the ads in a few small markets and then they go viral, so, uhhh, yeah it’s a great move.
Here’s last year’s ad, which basically featured Ferrell walking through a field – it only aired in North Platte, Nebraska, wherever that is:
And here’s this year’s, which features Ferrell making out with an Asian lady on a bus while an old Chinese pop song plays:
That ad only aired in three cities in Oklahoma, Texas, and Montana, but, like last year, is quickly spreading throughout the internet. We can only assume that Old Milwaukee thanks you for watching.
