Despite the best efforts of all the Fox News pundits who insisted that it was pure, unadulterated Communist propaganda straight from the pen of Karl Marx, Disney’s The Muppets was a modest box office hit, grossing $158 million worldwide on a budget of $45 million. Since movies that gross over three times their budget seem to automatically get sequels (and the movies that don’t automatically get reboots), The Muppets…Again! was an inevitability.

Not much is known about the plot at this point. All we really know is that Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey will be replacing Jason Segel and Amy Adams, that the release date is over a year away (March 21, 2014), and, based on the two stills that have been released, that some of it may be set on a subway platform.
